My story

I’m a UX and product design leader focused on strengthening the teams, systems, and practices behind great products.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across complex enterprise environments—including aviation, defense, and large-scale software platforms—where design had the opportunity to reshape how products were built and how teams collaborated. Much of my work has focused on helping organizations mature their design capabilities: establishing UX practices, introducing research and design processes, building design systems, and creating the structures that allow design to scale.

At Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions, I led initiatives that centralized fragmented UX teams, reduced attrition, introduced enterprise CX measurement across dozens of products, and helped modernize legacy aviation software through design systems and improved collaboration with engineering and product leadership.

I’m particularly interested in the intersection of organizational design and product design—how the way teams are structured, supported, and measured directly shapes the quality of the products they build. I enjoy helping teams align around shared practices, mentoring designers at all levels, and building the operational foundations that allow design to contribute strategically to product development.

More recently, I’ve also been exploring how emerging AI tools can support design workflows and accelerate prototyping, experimentation, and product discovery.

Outside of work, I teach graduate students in Carnegie Mellon University’s Integrated Innovation Institute, where I focus on visual communication, design thinking, and helping students develop the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling design.
